wall mailboxA couple years ago I picked up a mosaic mailbox at a closeout store. I loved it. The mosaic was put together in a tropical beach ocean theme and I just had to have it. This mailbox was not the right one for our house, it was more of a letter box but I could not resist and just had to have at least that one. I’ve looked for a mosaic mailbox everywhere! They do not exist or they were available long time ago and all I could find on line is SOLD OUT item which just made me want one of those more!.

So I decided I will have to make one of those cute mosaic mailboxes and while I am at it, I will make a few just in case there are others like me who want or need one. Stay tuned, this blog will describe the mosaic mail box production adventure as it happens.

I already spent some time locating mosaic supplies and will describe that part of the project in my next entry.

    it’s great to see there are other people interested in mosaic mailboxes. I am waiting for my shipment of art stained glass which will hopefully arrive this week. I will also post the mosaic mailbox design pattern in PDF so others can use it.
